For over 60 years, the team at HAHN Gasfedern has drawn on its native Swabian ingenuity, hard work, and curiosity. We owe our success and growth to these virtues, and we have not lost touch with our down-to-earth roots.
In 1960, Günter Hahn founded the company, which still bears his name today, in his birthplace of Esslingen am Neckar, Germany. Since then, markets and their requirements have evolved fundamentally – and HAHN Gasfedern has also changed with them.

What doesn't fit is made to fit - this has always been HAHN Gasfedern's philosophy and strategic orientation: We provide our customers with customized products - specially developed for their application. Continuous growth as a part of the DNA of the Stabilus Group
In 2016, the company passed an important milestone with its takeover by the Stabilus Group from Koblenz, Germany. As part of this company, we have been able to contribute our expertise within an expanded motion control environment. This provided a solid foundation to continue our growth.
